· Characteristics of automotive standards. Origin and development.
· A process approach and the requirements of the IATF 16949:2016.
· General characteristics of the IATF 16949 requirements.
· Discussion of the substantive scope of the IATF 16 949:2016 standard.
· Customer’s specific requirements and supplier’s responsibility.
· Audits and auditing according to the IATF 16949:2016.
· Specific tools suitable for the automotive industry - core tools according to the AIAG and AIAG&VDA requirements (APQP 2024, FMEA Handbook, Control Plan 2024, MSA, SPC, PPAP).
· Continuous improvement according to the automotive industry’s standards.
Exercises:
- Development of a turtle diagram for a selected quality management system process.
- Interpretation of the sections of the IATF 16949:2016 standard.
- Development of a schedule for system audits.
